Odd Spot

It was a catastrophe with a happy ending. Edgar, a four-year-old Boston cat, had his face torn off by a fan belt as he hid under a car bonnet. His owner fainted but recovered, called the vet and Edgar underwent face-saving surgery, suffering no major blood loss and no nerve damage. He has, however, only eight lives left.
